Enter for the 3D printing contest Design Smash, organized by WeMake.
The contest was a challenge between design teams to develop a printable model around the statement:
“Explains 3D printing to your grandfather”.
The design teams were then matched to a printing team and we had 4 hour to print and assemble the model.
The contest took place in 2012, and we had the chance to meet the first italian startups KentStrapper and Wasp, both with their first 3D printer prototypes, the Laser Cutting service Vectorealism and the just born 3D printing italian comunity.
Our design got the 2° prize.
